Recently, the winners of the 2025 "Mechanical Industry Science and Technology Award" were officially announced. As China’s most prestigious, authoritative, and influential science and technology award in the machinery industry, its rigorous selection criteria represent the pinnacle of technological innovation in the sector.

The project "Key Technology and Application of Controlled-Oxygen Thermal Conversion and High-Value Resource Recovery from Multi-Source Organic Solid Waste," led by China United Engineering Co., Ltd. in collaboration with Zhejiang University and Zhejiang Easyclean Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., has been honored with the First Prize in Scientific and Technological Progress due to its outstanding innovative contributions. This recognition serves as top-tier industry validation of the project’s technical excellence.

The project overcomes the bottlenecks of traditional solid waste treatment by pioneering core controlled-oxygen thermal conversion technology, achieving targeted separation and full utilization of multi-source organic solid waste. It addresses the industry’s long-standing challenges of “landfill dependence and low utilization efficiency.” This significant honor is the fruit of relentless dedication and hard work by the Easyclean team. To break through technical barriers, Easyclean’s R&D team immersed themselves in the laboratory, conducting countless rounds of experiments day and night. They also engaged deeply on the front lines of solid waste treatment, conducting on-site research into processing challenges across various scenarios. By precisely integrating theoretical insights with practical needs, they ultimately refined this efficient and environmentally friendly core technology.
