Waste oil has traditionally been viewed as a challenge for various industries, including automotive, manufacturing, and shipping, due to its disposal and management difficulties. However, with advancements in technology, these challenges have been addressed, enabling waste oil to be converted into valuable diesel fuel.
What is diesel application extracted from waste oil?

This product is refined from waste mineral oils such as waste engine oil, with a process flow consistent with standard vehicle diesel. In terms of power and durability, its performance even surpasses that of standard vehicle diesel. It can fully or partially replace vehicle diesel in most cases and is widely used in vehicles, generators, burners, and other fields.
Process Flow

The extraction of diesel component oil from waste engine oil involves removing impurities, colloids, asphaltenes, and other components from waste engine oil through a series of physical and chemical methods, and extracting usable light hydrocarbon components as diesel blending raw materials. The core process steps are as follows:

Pretreatment Stage
● Precipitation and Filtration
Waste engine oil first enters a precipitation tank and is left to stand for 6-24 hours. Mechanical impurities, moisture, and other coarse-grained impurities are removed through gravity separation.

Distillation and Cracking Stage
● Distillation Separation
The pretreated waste engine oil is sent to a distillation kettle for heating and distillation under atmospheric or negative pressure conditions. Based on the differences in boiling points of different hydrocarbon components, light fractions (gasoline components), medium fractions (diesel components), and heavy fractions (heavy oil, asphalt, etc.) are separated in sequence. Among them, the distillation range of diesel components is usually controlled at approximately 180-360℃.
● Desulfurization Treatment
Desulfurizing agents are added during the process to remove sulfur elements and acidic substances from diesel components, reducing corrosiveness and improving oil quality.

Refining Stage
● Decolorization and Deodorization
Adsorbents such as silica sand and activated carbon are used for adsorption treatment of diesel components to remove pigments, colloids, and odorous substances, thereby enhancing the appearance and stability of the oil product.
