End Products of Waste Tire/Rubber Pyrolysis
Pyrolysis oil has a higher calorific value than both gasoline and diesel. it can serve directly as fuel or be further refined into non-standard diesel.
Crude carbon black contains more ash and has lower initial commercial value than standard carbon black. However, its value increases significantly after refining. It is widely used in manufacturing tires, rubber goods, inks, and pigments.
Tires contain substantial amounts of steel wire, which can be recovered during pyrolysis, helping to conserve resources and reduce waste.
The process also produces combustible gases such as methane, ethylene, and propylene. These can be recycled to provide heat for the pyrolysis operation, improving overall energy efficiency.
